There is always a underlying reason why we don't have what we say we want in life. In my opinion these underlying reasons are the stories we have created for ourselves or let others create for us. For example: "I'm not good enough" or "afraid of looking bad". These stories can be pretty real for us as we have been developing them for a very long time. Sometimes they are from when we were so little we don't even remember the first time we made up the story.
Nonetheless, often we can have a dream and then we get stuck with making it happen. Or we start and then stop. All of us have evidence in our lives of this. The solution is to start to identify what stories are holding us back from making our dreams a reality.
The next step is to choose a more empowering story. We have the power to choose and so we can choose to have a different story. For example: "I am okay, maybe even fabulous, just the way i am" or "I am good enough to do xyz".
As we choose and move with new stories we will then have more and more evidence of success and therefore more and more confidence in ourselves. Leaving the old stories to be replaced with new ones.
Today, I am choosing to accept who I am as a Surrendered, Authentic, Accepting and Outrageous woman.
